Not a Fan: Becoming a Completely Committed Follower of Jesus

Not a Fan: Becoming a Completely Committed Follower of Jesus - Kyle Idleman I would recommend this book to anyone who has decided to give their life to God but isn't sure what it entails. However, it does require some maturity in the Christian faith because otherwise reading this might lead to doubts about the assurance of salvation. In this aspect, read with care and recognize that it is important to check our own salvation not necessarily because we may not be sincere but rather because we may be holding on to false or misguided beliefs.

I would also recommend this book to those of us who have a tendency to idle or who prefer to be in control of life rather than to surrender. In this aspect, the reader will be challenged to reconsider their commitment to following Jesus not just in speech but also in action.
